dc.description.abstract | The proposed project is space-based nonsite/website interaction between people and the physical landscape of the United States. It is in part a portrait of the nation, as expressed through the physical transformations intentionally and incidentally impressed on the ground, and the perception of the landscape, as it is impressed in people's minds. It is a tool, that can be used as a practical guide for exploration and discovery, and it is an artwork about the dynamics between physical space and the representation of place, and about the dissonance between being somewhere and imagining being there. | en_US |
