As an artist, I am a weaver - of content, intentions, media, agendas and desires. I am interested in the invisible webs that tie people together and in the networks of systems and relationships that structure our lives as we move together in history. The web, along with interactive installations, is the place that I have found to bring all these elements together in order to investigate these relationships and make other connections - using a very personal as well as a very collective approach. As a weaver I am interested in what links people and my instinct is that of nurturing them and taking them to another place where through exploration and participation, truths are revealed

Food For Thoughts? revolves around the idea that indeed, we are each part of the food chain, and that even the simple task of choosing what to put in one's grocery cart has the ability to impact major social and political structures, and the lives of millions. In this project, I will use multiple tools and access methods to provide visual pathways to information that is not readily accessible, to provide new ways to understand at a very intimate level a seemingly mundane activity and to use the "power of knowledge" and experience to effect change.
